event at sven's cafe and gallery
Stop Traffic, the Central Missouri Stop Human Trafficking Coalition and the Mustard Seed collaborated to host an awareness and fundraising event at Sven's Cafe and Gallery in May 2009. The event had many performers including music, poetry, storytelling, and more. Vendors brought fair trade items and had models showing guests the options as they enjoyed coffee and cake celebrating the 1st birthday of the Coalition and 2nd of Stop Traffic.

variety show, fall 2008
Stop Traffic hosted a variety show that included poetry, music, belly dancers, and West African dance performers November 2008. Between the performances Stop Traffic representatives spoke about the hardships of trafficking and encouraged the audience to consider the hidden talents of those trafficked who are swept to the side and forgotten.

human trafficking awareness week fall 2008
Stop Traffic and Not For Sale Missouri collaborated to host different speakers and a concert September 2008 to raise awareness about trafficking. Money was raised at the concert to fund a safe house for victims in Peru.
